GOOD KID M.A.A.D. CITY

The album that I chose is GOOD KID M.A.A.D. CITY. This is one of my favorite albums from one of my favorite artists. I chose to use a dark red background because in the first half of the album, Kendrick raps about vices such as money and power. I made a butterfly because it is a Kendrick Lamar trademark. It also symbolizes growth and I put red and blue inside the butterfly to symbolize the internal struggle of Kendrick, of good and evil, as his songs talk more and more about virtues like respect. I put a blue outer glow on the butterfly to symbolize that the good values of Kendrick prevailed over the dark. I used a lightning brush to symbolize the chaos of this internal struggle and it worked well with the smoke brush and the dark background.
