Broadcast graphics for the "GREAT FOOTBALL" program
The design team of TV channels "Football 1/2/3" and the Brain Tank MarCom Agency have developed and rebranded the program " Great Football". A visual style was created for both the TV version of the show and its YouTube version. The task for the graphics was to achieve compliance with the trends of 2021. After all, football is a global game, and the audience is constantly coming on European and world examples of football programs. Therefore, the task was to increase the level of Ukrainian graphics in accordance with world counterparts. A year before, the Brain Tank agency had already developed a broadcast graphics for all football channels of the UKRAINE Media Group.
The main idea

The metaphor of the new graphics bacame the image of the Football Galaxy’s creation. The ball — a new mascot of the program — moves through space woven from stadiums, players, clubs. The octagon of the ball shone with a star that became a symbol of the program, turning into a logo.

The whole galaxy can be seen in the promotional open-up that precedes the air. In turn, the broadcast design is formed from parts of the ball — a star of the program.

The metaphor of outer space assembled from many orbits and interacting elements expresses the spirit of today's football, that has completely gone beyond the pale of game on the field and become an independent universe.
Technical embodiment

The complexity of this task is that it’s necessary to create not just a good graphics design, but a whole system of graphics programming — the most flexible and functional in the work. It should be easy to mount in a couple of seconds for the convenience of the live editorial process.

Broadcast design is a non-trivial and complex process, and its result can be observed every day on the air of your favorite channels and programs.
