A friendly and joyful design for a nutty brand

Moms around South Africa trust Rama to add that unique flavour to their school sandwiches and home cooking. 

The client wanted to launch a peanut butter spread under the umbrella of the Rama brand. The new brand would have two pillars with two versions within: smooth and crunchy. 

The identity builds a fresh look by using a distinctive colour and a fun tone of voice given by the hand-drawn typeface used on the brand mark. Appealing to kids and moms, the Rama brand was the stamp of trust and heritage that the product needed to break into the spread’s market in South Africa.
