The Alachua County Nutrition Alliance (ACNA) is a local organization in Gainesville working toward inproving the nutrition and community in the area. I was approached by one of the board members to initially help design and build the new Wordpress website for the organization. It quickly turned into me also helping them create a brand and identity as well.
So far the work to date has been warmly received and much appreciated by the board members and we are getting ready to launch everything.
What I was trying to convey with their logo are several points that were brought up during discussions about what they want to represent as an organization. They want to be a platform to spread a message and awareness while aligning themselves with other organizations in the area.
This is apparent in the abstract use of the speech bubble and the "L" that extends through the copy.

Above is the homepage of the ACNA website. Based off of the initial set of wireframes it was rapidly prototyped in Wordpress and Bootstrap. So the theme itself as responsive.
