Our friends at NXTID contacted us to develop a trailer for Bundesliga Season 20-21

The goal was to showcase in one minute the emotion, the atmosphere and the best moments in one of the best football leagues in the world, but also add up some thrill and excitement to the league identity so that helps to attract younger and wider audiences.

To achieve this, the idea was to mix a series of graphic resources and animations between the league best moments. The result is 60 seconds of pure emotion and enhancing visuals:

A lot to see in just a few seconds, right? ...So here's a detailed review of everything that's going on:

We were given a series of slogans to include in the trailer, to help define the outstanding features of the league and its players. We decided to showcase them in the most creative and dazzling way we could imagine, from typographic animations to 3D Plates with the phrase engraved on it.

We also made a series of presentations of the most outstanding players to include throughout the trailer, as the one here below:

Another highlight is a particle system depeloped in Houdini that tracks the plays and movements of the Bundesliga top players. Then, this information is processed and rendered in different ways: geometric shapes, trails and patterns.

In summary, the different graphic resources we developed allowed to convey the variety and richness of football that is seen every week in the different stadiums of the Bundesliga.
