Renovation of Radio City Building and converting it to Cinema Center based on Sensory Architecture in Tehran.
Radio City Cinema is one of the salient and modern architectural forwarding examples in decades before the Revolution was designed and performed. This modern building was constructed in Vali-E-Asr Ave (former Pahlavi St.) in 1998. Radio City was one of the most visited cinemas in Tehran in the given period and was mainly used by the well-to-do class. It was foreclosed in 1980 and reopened in spring 1982 after two years. It was converted into the center and used for distribution of medication for Martyr Foundation during Iraqi imposed war and at last, it was closed down on 30th May 1992 after 33 years of activities. Likewise, by registration of this place in Tehran Cultural Heritage Organization, they intended to put this building for public use concerning cultural activities again by conservation of its identity.

Sensory architecture
During the Renaissance period, five senses were known among them visual sense was considered at a higher level and tactile at the lowest leve l in this ranking. The sense originated from the universal system so that vision was related to fire and light, auditory with air displacement, olfactory with water, and tactile with earth. Any tactile experience includes multi-sensory in architecture. The quality of matter, scale, and space is perceived by ear, eye, nose, skin, tongue, skeleton, and face. Architecture covers seven domains of sensual experience interacted with each other.
