360º Pop-Up Picture Book “We the children… Have rights”

This giant picture book is an adaptation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child by ONU and it was the result of a collaborative project promoted between APEI (Association of Early Childhood Education Teachers) and IAC (Child Support Institute), sponsored by the Lisbon City Council and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, designed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Portugal’s ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. With paper engineering by André Pimenta and illustration and design by me, this picture book includes a set of activities to explore the Rights of the Child, designed to allow its approach in the context of pre-school and primary education.
