- Concept: For this book, I needed to watch its movie, particularly looking for the emotional and violent ratio since David Baldacci mainly writes about thrilling/mysterious kind of books, to come up with the cover's art concept. Turned out the movie was emotional and suitable for children.
- Colour: I chose this autumn colour tone, which is the same as the movie, because it gave the warm, peaceful and energetic feel and look. I also designed the characters similar to those in the movie.
- Illustration: In this cover, the siblings and their grandma are on their way to help a neighbour giving birth in the absence of her violent husband, who constantly causes harm to the grandma's family. Throughout the movie, being considerate and caring to other people was one of the biggest lessons the grandma teach her grand-children, therefore, I wanted to illustrate this meaningful moment for the book cover.

- This book is not only about violence and mysteries but also emotions and love. I used motion blur tool (PTS) and snipper focus to the mother's head to create the thrilling and violent feel. The mom holding her baby illustration represents an unconditional family love and moreover, the lights around her also says that love is the only thing that can bring peace and heal a broken soul.
