DEKK is located at the heart of Istanbul. The Nisantasi District is a luxury shopping center in istanbul that has created the Istanbul's pop-up city experience. The colorful activation infuses the shopping experience with unexpected moments of delight by offering a playful environment to relax and unwind in during a busy day at the city. This project was done by Mc ROHER Design studio and  I-AM istanbul team. it was a great experience to work with this team.
    

    The brightly painted words on the facade spell out phrases such as 'this is the gate' and 'this is eye contact'. The structure's of the area is made from plywood, and scaffolding and shipping containers. the containers were used only as a base and not as the main feature.

     Amphitheatre-style wooden steps climb up around the edge of wall outdoor. The outdoor amphitheatre seating area provides a lovely, contemplative, sheltered place of respite for commuters and visitors to Istanbul and several times a week plays host to storytelling, concerts and acoustic performances.
