Alternative Movie Poster
Waterworld was my favorite movie growing up, and I spent a full summer in the ‘90s recreating the entire movie set out of Legos. Also, Waterworld is an amazing movie of cinematic genius, and I cannot, and will not, be convinced otherwise. This particular project is an alternate movie poster with a minimalistic approach.
Inspiration & Progress
This was the first idea i quickly threw together as a starting point. I originally wanted the poster to be very text heavy. I later decided to go for a minimalist approach using vector graphics.

TEXTURES: The set pieces had rustic texture i wanted to bring to life on the typography, as well as the boat.
