Marina Basílio is a boutique for women who are interested in fashion trends, but who are constantly in tune with their essence and seek to wear what connects them with their identity. The brand defends that clothes are timeless and add sophistication to the personal image regardless of the style of each client.
O insight para o conceito central do projeto se deu através de uma pesquisa sobre a origens e significados dos nomes presentes na nova marca que leva a assinatura de sua fundadora, Marina Basílio. O nome "Basílio" vem do grego "Bassíleios", e pode ser traduzido como régio ou real. Como a marca traz em sua essência valores como beleza, elegância e sofisticação, isso promove uma ligação genuína com o conceito de realeza, motivando independência, autoconhecimento e autoconfiança.

The insight for the central concept of the project came through a research on the origins and meanings of the names present in the new brand that bears the signature of its founder, Marina Basílio. The name "Basil" comes from the Greek "Basilius", and can be translated as regal or royal. As the brand brings in its essence values such as beauty, elegance and sophistication, this promotes a genuine connection with the concept of royalty, motivating independence, self-knowledge and self-confidence.
O símbolo principal foi construído com base em nas iniciais "M" e "B", na coroa e a tulipa. A coroa transmite o conceito de realeza presente no sobrenome Basílio, enquanto a tulipa evoca a beleza e a sofisticação trazendo delicadeza e feminilidade ao símbolo.

The main symbol was constructed based on the initials "M" and "B", in the crown and the tulip. The crown conveys the concept of royalty present in the surname Basilio, while the tulip evokes beauty and sophistication, bringing delicacy and femininity to the symbol.
O símbolo outline foi construído através de um grid simples formado por 2 círculos sobrepostos, dando forma às curvas da letra "B" e, ao mesmo tempo, à base arredondada da tulipa; e linhas retas e diagonais, guiando a construção da letra "M", bem como a parte superior da coroa.

The outline symbol was constructed using a simple grid formed by 2 overlapping circles, shaping the curves of the letter "B" and, at the same time, the rounded base of the tulip; and straight and diagonal lines, guiding the construction of the letter "M" as well as the upper part of the crown.
O ponto de partida para a paleta de cores foi as vestimentas reais. Variações do bordô e do dourado conectam o símbolo ao conceito construído e harmonizam toda a identidade visual, trazendo peso e significado para a marca.

The starting point for the color palette was the royal costumes. Variations in burgundy and gold connect the symbol to the built concept and harmonize the entire visual identity, bringing weight and meaning to the brand.
Para marcar o tom de voz da marca e conectá-la com o público alvo, um slogan foi criado, valendo-se de um trocadilho com a palavra "real", que ao mesmo tempo que se refere ao estado verdadeiro de algo, também aponta para a qualidade de realeza.

To set the tone of voice of the brand and connect it with the target audience, a slogan was created, using a pun with the word "real", which, while referring to the true state of something, also points out for the quality of royalty.
