Geometric absence of light
Our eyes can perceive two qualities of light: colour and brightness. This short sequence of black and white "Lichtbilder" plays with the absence of light in geometric compositions. The series is part of my abstract photo project "Pure Light | Pure Photography". The photos for these images are created on an optical bench where a modified light beam is projected directly onto the camera chip. The camera therefore does not reproduce an object from the real world but generates a completely abstract image. That´s what I call "Pure Photography".
