Derived from Sanskrit, Sundara means beautiful. The name also describes this hostel, which carries a local and open concept amidst the hustle and bustle of downtown Bandung, beautifully packaged in this 4-storey hostel. Not only serves as a low-budget hostel targeting young people, Sundara Hostel also functions as a cafe on its ground floor.

Design Concept
This building is designed to maximize natural lighting and ventilation. Apart from supporting the sustainability movement, the design also resulted in Sundara Hostel offering a unique space experience for its visitors and guests. There are many voids in this building, to ensure good air and light circulation in the narrow space. The materials used are wood, concrete, roster, and vegetation.
