Adobe Community Fund
Project:
The Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund is a program helping visual creators by funding their projects or hiring them for Adobe Commissioned Projects. It's open to all countries as long as you speak English.
I worked in collaboration with The Design Kids to represent what the Adobe Residency program is to me. I also illustrated the work of three artists (Juliette Mothe, Maddy Beard and Will Nunes, members of the creative residency). I talked to them about their approaches and the message they wanted to pass through their work.
Sketches:
At the beginning of the project, we talked about designing cover illustrations for The Design Kids articles about the Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund.
Stickers:
We decided to go in another direction and create different stickers to promote the Creative Residency Community Fund. Here is some sketches that I made. As the color palette wasn't made yet, I tried different things and mixed up a lot of colors.
Colors:
Once the main sticker done, I did some test for differents color palette. The idea was to get a colorful and flashy palette.
Final:
We selected the final ! I also decided to turn these stickers into small animation in After Effects.
Approach:
Juliette worked on a project on black womanhood, mental health and the burden of the “strong black women” cliche. I decided to contact her to be 100% sure for the words I was going to use and she helped me to find the right way to talk about her work.
Approach:
Maddy is an Adobe Creative Resident 2020 - 2021 working on developing UX/Ui case studies around the concept of Mindful Design (a design that is human-centered). While talking to her and discovering her work, I discovered a new approach on design.
Approach:
Will was chosen by the Adobe XD team and had the pleasure to design the new Experience Lab identity.
The Adobe Experience Lab is a livestream series for students who want to learn more about UX, UI and product design. Will’s work is colorful and vibrant and I’m happy I got the chance to talk to him about his creative universe.
