ഭാര്യയെയും കൊണ്ട് കണ്ണമാലിയിൽ ഒരു സ്കൂളിൽ പി എസ് സി ടെസ്റ്റിന് പോയിരുന്നു. ടെസ്റ്റ് കഴിയുന്നതുവരെ സമയം പോകാൻ വെറുതെ അവിടെ ചുറ്റി നടക്കുന്നതിനിടയിലാണ് കടലും പുത്തൻതോട് എന്ന ഈ കടൽത്തീരവും കാണുന്നത്.
അസ്തമയം ആസ്വദിക്കുന്നതിനു വേണ്ടി പിന്നീട് ഒരു തവണ വൈകിട്ട് അവിടെ പോയിരുന്നു.
വളരെ ചെറിയൊരു കടൽതീരം ആയതിന്റെ ഒരു സവിശേഷ ഭംഗി ആ തീരത്ത് ഉണ്ട്. അസ്തമയവും ഉദയവും പൊതുവേ അധികം ചിത്രീകരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതാണല്ലോ. ഈ ഒരു ചിന്തയിൽ നിന്നാണ് നിലാവെളിച്ചത്തിൽ ഈ തീരം ചിത്രീകരിക്കണം എന്ന ആഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത്.
വൈറ്റിലയിൽ നിന്ന് വെളുപ്പിന് ഒരു രണ്ടര മണിക്ക് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ടു.നിലാവെളിച്ചത്തിൽ അന്ന് അവിടെ വച്ച് എടുത്ത ചിത്രങ്ങൾ പലതവണയായി സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയയിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
പുലർച്ചെയുള്ള കടൽതീരവും അവിടുത്തെ ജീവിതവും പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ ഒരു ഉദയവും കിട്ടിയത് വളരെ ഹൃദ്യമായി.നമ്മുടെ കേരളത്തിൽ ഇപ്പോഴും ശുചിമുറി യുടെ ആവശ്യം വെളിവാക്കുന്ന പരസ്യ ത്തിൻറെ പ്രാധാന്യവും മനസ്സിലാക്കി. പലചിത്രങ്ങളിലും ആളുകൾ വെളികിരിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ കാഴ്ചകളും പതിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

Recently I had taken my wife to a school at Kannamaly for a PSC test. While she was taking the test, I went around the area just to kill the time. As I was moving around, unexpectedly I came across a beautiful spot at the seashore known as Puthenthode. Instantly I felt that this is a unique place. Later, I visited this place once again to enjoy the beauty of sunset. Since it is a small beach, it was really amazing to watch the sunset from this special place. People have been reproducing the beauty of sunrise and sunset in celluloid in a variety of ways. Therefore I decided to do something unique. I wanted to capture the beauty of that beach in full moon light. In order to fulfill my dream I set off to this beach one day early morning at 2 am from Vyttila and I could capture some extraordinarily beautiful scenery which I have already shared in the social media. It's really amazing to have captured those rare scenery of the beach and the surrounding area. The scenery inadvertently depicted some people who live around the seashore fulfilling their toilet needs at that time in open spaces as well. Often, I used to wonder why the ads relating to defecation in public places should appear in a place like ours. But, now I realize that they were really relevant!
