This was a huge avatar exploration phase for RemotelyHQ a start up software company based in New Zealand. Remotely has developed an avatar meeting platform as a polar opposite to Zoom.

I was tasked with drawing as many different types of avatars as I could muster. I spent about 2 weeks banging out as many as I could. This helped to inform the design direction that we decided to take in the end, and also visualized many other directions we could have taken. I don't think I've ever been given so much freedom in a brief before.

There are a few more iterations that I will post in the coming days that are closer to what the final avatars ended up looking like.

For these I took inspiration from vinyl toys, sitcoms, RPG's and totem spirits. Some really fun and wacky results. Enjoy!
