In this handles project, I have chosen to redesign the walking stick. Research has been done on current walking sticks as well as the needs of the elderlies when they travel both outdoors and indoors.
 
I aim to design a trusty companion that is so intuitive and effortless to use. Birdie comprises of 3 main aspects, to hang by the bed, to slot into the table and to provide additional comfort for the wrist to ease the pain of getting up.
