'Scenes from an Aquarium' was completed in June 2021 in response to a call for work, focusing on the epic qualities of water, from Fountain House Gallery in New York City. Although this piece was not submitted to the gallery's 'water' exhibition, I am proud of my work which required several weeks of intense engagement. Here, 15 blocks of pine-wood have received transfers from black & white ink-jet prints, a polyacrylic layer, and then acrylic paints. Finally, I glued all blocks to a plywood back-board.
