Olivarera Italo-Mexicana acquired a 5,600 acre field in the southeast of Mexicali, Baja California, the most viable region to establish an olive plantation in Mexico.
Intended for healthy home-cooked family meals, Olaf is Olivarera Italo-Mexicana's flagship brand of cold-pressed, 100% extra-virgin olive oil. The naming came from research on the etymological origins of the word "olive" and playing with phonetics to give the brand a feeling of family and heritage. Our proposal takes typical Italian visual clichés and simplifies and refreshes them.
Fundado por un grupo de productores e inversionistas italianos, mexicanos y americanos, Olivarera Italo-Mexicana adquirió un campo de 5600 hectáreas al sureste de Mexicali, Baja California, la región más viable para establecer la plantación de olivos en México.
Dirigido hacia el uso en el hogar y para la familia, Olaf es la marca insignia de aceite de oliva extra virgen de Olivarera Italo-Mexicana. El nombre resultó después de investigar los orígenes etimológicos de la palabra "olivo" y jugar con variaciones fonéticas para darle un sentimiento de herencia familiar. Nuestra propuesta toma típicos clichés italianos para refrescar y simplificarlos.
