Overview
A collaboration with King Koil Mattress Company, students need to provide bed frame design for them. The concept of this bed is slants and diagonals. The slant on the leg parts and also some of the diagonal groove lines on the headboard are the main highlight of this bed.
The bed was named as “ANGLE” where the main concept was about the slants and diagonals. It is a queen size bed that is made with only Jelutong wood. The entire bed is quite symmetrical that the groove lines and leg parts have slanted in the same way to create balanced.
This bed frame would look great with your slection of textiles and bedroom furnishings. It is easy to clean and maintain whether the bed frame itself or under the bed. It’s high headboard can let you sit up comfortably in bed with pillows behind your back to read or to watch TV.

Material Consideration
The whole structure uses the same material which is Jelutong wood, it is a hard wood that can support the weight of a bed and human better than soft wood. The bed frame grip and the headboard will remained the original color of the wood with varnish gloss finishes. For the leg parts would be painted with white.
