On previous projects we experimented with some of the possibilities of the xerographic over-printing techinque, which consists in photocopying a grey-scale master using the “one color” option. The printer translates that grey value information into the chosen CMYK color. With this in mind, we noticed inevitably the possible connection between painting and printing as an artistic link. Particularly in a key point: color. Here grows the idea of approaching both techniques, this time through practical exercices of limited color palette, commonly used by painters.

Both the pages and the cover of this book have been completly printed following the over-printed xerography technique, with a MYK color process.
The closed book has a 20 x 12cm dimension. It contains 71 single pages printed on coated paper (100gr/m²). Some of these have double the width, getting a “double-sided” printed page when being folded back on the middle. We chose white laid paper (250gr/m²) for the cover piece.
The whole publication uses a perfect binding, secured with a simple needlework on the left margin.
