A personal branding rebrand with portfolio package after completing Graphic Communications and Print Technology diploma at SAIT, Calgary.
The logo is inspired by the "ang" in my name, Angelique, and a smily face—people's impression of me. Yellow is my favourite colour, and in combination of the dark grey created a vibrant but also grounding sense for the designs.
The portfolio package includes, a plane ticket, business card, résumé, newspaper and magazine. It showcased all of my skills: graphic design, web design, layout design and print knowledge. The plane ticket represented my journey from Taiwan to Canada, and on the back of the design included a brief explanation of the story behind each piece of work in the package. The double-sided résumé was designed to make an impression in people mind using large typography and creative copy. The newspaper format portfolio included selected school works and industry works that I created in Taiwan, it is inspired by the 1920s tabloids—black and white with red accent. The magazine format portfolio presented various school projects and industry projects I designed after coming to Canada. These two pieces of portfolio showed the progress of myself as a designer and the growth I've obtained from 2014 to 2019.
All printed pieces in the portfolio is produced by myself at SAIT.
