When the Covid-19 pandemic hit us in March 2020, I was living and working in Bangalore, India. A world famously strict lockdown was announced by the government in no time after the first news of a new virus, and just like most of us, I found myself spending the next four month in my apartment, seeking answers, personal space and entertainment. I’m one of those lucky ones, who passed the initial phase of the pandemic with no major loss. I still had my job, I was in a steady relationship, and had no worries about my rent. Days passed by, and eventually the main experience connected to the situation became a very special mixture of worry, self-pity and boredom.

To keep myself busy, I was sketching the small daily habits and coping mechanisms of the lockdown. Here is a selection of my favorite scenes.
