ABOUT THE ACADEMY
Upcoming Music Producers are always looking for their big break: a chance to shine. At the same time, record labels and music lovers are looking for something fresh. The Academy of Electronic Music connects these two, offering YOU the chance to show your talent, while learning more about the world of EDM.

WHO'S BEHIND IT?
The Academy of Electronic Music is a collaboration of Amsterdam based record label Armada Music, Point Blank Music School, Google+ and media partner DJ Mag UK

WHAT IS THE AIM?
Connecting music makers all around the globe, finding and developing the next generation of superstar DJ’s and producers, all via a fully social music school.

HOW WILL WE DO THIS?
By presenting an online platform and launchpad for talented producers and members of the worldwide electronic dance music community. The Academy of Electronic Music connects the producers, the record label and the global dance music lovers. EDM producers are invited to submit their tracks, as the public votes for the 50 best ones and The Academy will select the 7 out of the Top 50 that will enroll in The Academy. The community and those who didn't make it can learn along with the 7 finalists as they prepare for the biggest release of their lives via Google Hangouts.

WINNERS 2013
34.000 votes, 1.200 tracks, 50 within the first selection, 7 made the cut.
These are the winners for the Acadamy Of Electronic Music 2013

FIRST ACADEMY HANGOUT!
We’re very excited to announce the first artist to be involved in the Google Hangout of the Academy of Electronic Music. The finalists will take part in a once-in-a-lifetime hangout with no one less than Armin van Buuren! During the hang-out, the lucky 7 have the opportunity to ask Armin their burning question.
And the best part is – everyone can watch!
