Yamada Arquitetura - Brand Design

"I believe that everyone deserves to live in spaces that meet their needs and that they inhabit cities that were designed for the common good."

Jessica Yamada was a recent graduate in architecture and needed to start building her personal brand. To do so, she was looking for a visual identity that conveyed the essence of her values, her love for the profession and that had a connection with her Japanese origins.
“Yamada is my last name, of Japanese origin and refers to my ancestors. The “kanji”, Japanese script, means mountain farmers. It refers to direct contact with nature, harmony, respect and peace.”
You can't disagree about the importance of mountains for Japan. They occupy 85% of its territory and among them we can highlight one of the most beautiful in the world: Mount Fuji. In addition to it, there are 21 ultra-prominent peaks and more than 100 mountains famous for their flora and natural beauty.

Mountains serve as an orientation and here we have a very interesting link with architecture. After all, the architect has, among many of his roles, that of guiding, giving the best direction.

Another source of inspiration came from classic Japanese architecture, rich in curves, lines and sharp corners, harmoniously combined.
The symbol was built in outline to refer to architectural drawings and monumental structures.

You can identify 4 of Japan's most famous mountains: Mount Fuji in the center, Mount Kita and Mount Ishizuchi on the sides and Daisen below in the center.

In addition, the symbol has all the letters of the name YAMADA.
About black color: elegance, sophistication, nobility, seriousness, modernity, strength and innovation.
Client's Testimonial

"The concept went beyond what I could imagine for the identity. The union of the name and the natural elements, makes a strong and sensitive connection to my ancestors, and carries respect for nature the way it is. The lines and shapes bring the values I bring to my projects. I was impacted and without a doubt it is one of the most beautiful visual identities ever."
