Inspired by China's love and admiration for Phoenix , I designed an eyeshadow palette and the cover for it. The shades in the palette are inspired by Chinese ancient Jade carvings.
Chinese believe that phoenix could only be worn by people of great importance, The phoenix represented power sent from the heavens to the Empress. whereas
Jade is most valued in China. Demand for Jade is driven almost entirely by the Chinese market. At the top end, it can be worth more than gold.
