For my Senior Design Project I chose to do a series of five book covers about Oceanography and to create a website, which would allow people to buy the books. Each book consisted of a specific topic about the ocean. The reason I chose the ocean is because I care about the ocean and if I had more free time I would love to study the ocean. My goal of creating this series was to bring awareness of the importance of the ocean and why we should try to preserve it. I also wanted to create a resource for people to use to see why it is important to keep our oceans clean and how our poor choices can negativity affect the ocean. My readers could be anyone from a high school or college student to a person who just loves to learn about oceanography. I wanted to make these books available in text book form as well as audio, and eBooks. The books would also be available for purchase on the website that was designed for these books. The topics I chose for the five books were, The 5 Oceans, 7 Wonders of the Ocean, and Dangers of the Ocean, Climate Change and Pollution, Economical Impacts of the Ocean.
