A landscape study with added Star Wars flavor from an Albert Bierstadt piece. Those quick master studies (1-2h) are actually teaching me a LOT about color and I wish I had started doing these sooner. Also, I want to be an ewok and own a speeder too.

I've been doing a few of these, will post my favorites here.

VACATIONS ON ENDOR

"Chekiwo-kaba, nag galouk?" said the ewok Luke had called Nagi. The little creature was gesturing excitedly toward Luke's belt.

"No, I already told you, a lightsaber is not a toy."

Nagi nodded her head to the side, still waving towards his belt with one fuzzy paw and towards the lake with another.

"Oh, you mean the holographer?"

"Nak nak!" approved the ewok.

Luke prepared the small machine while Nagi took the speeder to the shore and hopped on it. Grabbing her lance, she posed proudly in front of the lake her ancestors grew with.

The view was truly magnificient. Luke understood why Nagi and the other ewok leaders insisted in taking him there after the Deathstar fell. Nagi would keep a nice holographic souvenir, but Luke would be filled with memories. Here, the Dark Side was nowhere in sight.

Luke snapped the hologram.
