The intention of creating the Equal Pay Day collection was to bring awareness to inequality in pay that women face, especially during the pandemic. The establishment of Equal Pay Day is done so in a manner that highlights disparages throughout the year according to ethnicities. This means that the collection created would be a yearlong campaign, focusing on each group, incorporating the branding and tying them all together.  

The goal was to create an eye-catching campaign using bright but somber colors to emphasize the seriousness of this problem, and linear design elements to draw the viewer from one group to the next, focusing on how we are all connected to this problem and can solve it together. 
Two types of graphic styles were used for the info graphic and the title graphic. For the info posts a more graphic design approach was utilized with minimal detail and color palette based on primary palettes. For the title graphics, it was a more illustrative approach to humanize the designs, including an illustration of one of my coworkers and her abuela.  

Our graphic designer/artist Alda Mendoza, responsable for this project created the branding, including the logo and all design elements, in Illustrator. She used Adobe Kuler to help select the color palette. Alda used Photoshop for the illustrations, and Illustrator for the graphic design illustrations and After Effects to create the video clip posts composed of all the elements she 
created in CC.
