Short story:
Once upon a time there was an island in the middle of nowhere, the tiny amount of land mass was covered in nothing but stone. And on that lonesome island also lived a single volcano. the island itself was deserted, no plants were growing on it, no creatures decided to live there. Until one day the volcano decided to wake up, on that day the ground rumbled, the skies darkened and the volcano erupted, lava was flying everywhere, meters into the air and it melted everything it touched, unlcuding all the stones and rocks.  It is because of this, that the island became alive. People noticed the lava in the distance, they knew the ground would be fertile and fresh for farming and harvesting. they knew that as soon as the volcano had settled into its sleep, they would prepare their boats and travel to their new land.

And so they did, weeks later, they got on their wooden boats made of palm trees, and travelled onwards into the distance, to the new fertile land.
It took the people 3 days in total to surf across the sea and arrive at their destination.
On the island was a single mountain, presumely the volcano that died down, there was a nice path that started at the bottom of the mountain, and it ended at the top. The sun was shining, and there was not a cloud in sight, the air was warm but not too warm, the ground was fresh. so fresh, in fact, that the people already noticed some plants growing. The sea birds also became curious as to what was created by this volcano.

The settlers collected all the wood they packed for the ride, and immediately started building campfires and houses.
This was a beginning of their bright and sunny future.
