I was commissioned by Adobe Residency to create a lettering piece using Adobe Fresco.
I have not used Fresco before and was very excited to learn about the app. I decided upon creating a lettering piece with an empowering phrase, using my regular colors of soft pink, teal and coral.

I began with a sketch in the Fresco app and created the layout of the phrase. From here planned out the final composition, making guidelines using the ruler tool. I then inked in the lettering and added color, texture, shadows and highlights. Ink and spatter brushes were used to create the piece.

Here is my process on the iPad using Fresco. I enjoyed learning the app and the brushes were fun to use and had a natural feel. It found I picked up the interface easily and got into a comfortable workflow.
