Tribute Series no.1
Alan Holloway, the Inventor of Blu Tack
1970, laboratory researcher Alan Holloway was working for sealant manufacturer Ralli Bondite of Waterlooville, England. Holloway inadvertently produced a product that was useless as a sealant, but pliable and semi-elastic.
This piece of typography is a tribute to Alan Holloway. Using 37 packets of blu tack, 925 grams in total, I created this over a period of about 2 weeks on my desk. I have no idea what to do with it now.
Thanks to Victor for the photos.
