Pippi Longstocking is a character in a series of children's books by Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren, a bizarre girl who lives in a small town in Sweden in a small house with a garden near the home of Tommy and Anika. On the outskirts of a small town there is an old, abandoned garden, in the garden there is an old house, and in it lives Pippi Longstocking. she is nine years old, and she lives there alone. She has neither mom nor dad. And it's good that she doesn't, because no one tells her to go to bed just when she walks around the hardest, and no one forces her to drink fish oil when she wants to eat candy.
Illustrations for the book are designed for children aged 3 - 7 years.
