3. Most industrial enterprises are inseparable from grinding wheels. In 1953, China decided to build a large grinding wheel factory, which later became the Zhengzhou No. 2 Grinding Wheel Factory. Grandpa said, "Since it was put into production in 1964, it has the support of the government and people of the German Democratic Republic, and it was a glorious period for Chinese abrasives at that time." 4. In addition to the aforementioned Shuyuan Street, Zhengzhou also has a street with a historical flavor, Haitan Street, in English means Beach street. The street was built in 1975 as a family home for textile workers to provide accommodation for the workers of the largest cotton textile factory in China, which was located next door. The bungalows, built of red tiles, were the standard of the period, with a simple style that contrasts sharply with modern architecture. A large part of the old residents of Zhengzhou spent their childhood in this street.
