“Ahare Bahare Satyajit”

It all started with the core thought of commemorating Satyajit Ray on his 100th birthday. Food has played an integral part in his books, movies and other works. Be it Pather Panchali, Nayak, Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayen or Feluda, food has played a vital role in every plot. So, the SoS team decided to run a campaign in memory of the legend highlighting food in his works. The campaign on food and Satyajit Ray was named “Ahare Bahare Satyajit”. From 23rd April to 2nd May, 2021 this campaign was run in the Amul Bangla social media portals receiving love from the audience like never before. 

But this was not it, next along the regional heads of Amul, the team of SoS Ideas reached 1, Bishop Lefroy Road. There they presented Mr. Sandeep Ray two earthen pots of Amul delicacies along with the entire campaign in a booklet form and a framed advertisement released by Amul on the passing of Mr. Satyajit Ray in 1992. 

The icon that is Mr. Satyajit Ray has been celebrated all over the globe in many ways but celebrating the foodie in the legend that is Mr. Satyajit ray was truly unique in its own way.
