Braille, a kind of writing that differs from every other manner, and that not because of its visual nature,
but particularly because of its use. As a result of intensive engagement into the historical origin and development of this most important way of writing, a book arose that allows clear insight into the single signs and presentations of Braille. Issues such as the reasons for blindness or the functions and performance of the human senses, which in part one of the book are dealt with, give the reader further information on the topic of blindness.
