Building Lettering

As part of the St. Mary's Menston wayfinding programme we have been working on since 2012, we made a 'big lettering sign' to identify the Hume Building.

This is important as the Sports Hall and Performing Arts Studio are some of the most common destinations for the 1,300 people who visit our school (after pupils have left) each week. The visitors used to find it hard to find where the Hume Building was before the sign.

The sign matches our Identity and I liked it because the white matched the surrounding paintwork.

It was very cheap because it is made from dibond and because it's white it doesn't need printing on! The sign was produced and installed by Quarmby Colour of Leeds.
In 2014, there was another sign made – for our Morse Building, named after Saint Henry Morse.
We are planning to have matching sign for our last remaining Clitherow building too.
