Project Date - October 2020
This mural is located in Balige, North Sumatra, Indonesia. The area has three different businesses - a soccer stadium, a restaurant, and a Sosro distributor storage. With the different aspects of business, I designed a mural that represents all of the businesses into the mural, while also adding some traditional pattern and some shapes that represent the town.
Mural isn't common in the area and I was able to make a mural that is vibrant and different that the community can enjoy. The mural is 4 meters high and 10 meters long on two different buildings. The shapes represent an abstract form of some of the area in the city, the lines represent the main roads in the city, and I used two different traditional patterns from a traditional clothing from the area.
Now soccer players, restaurant visitors, and businessmen that visit the space can enjoy the mural.
