The objectives of the project were to create a biographical site on Miles Davis and to design a vinyl album cover for a new commemorative collection. With an aim to inform and attract, this content is for a 25-65 year old audience that consists of jazz fans and music enthusiasts. The primary needs of the audience were a background on the life and legacy of Miles Davis to promote a newly-releasing commemorative album, which features his most popular works from the different stages of his jazz career. The deliverables were the front/back covers of the vinyl record, in addition to a hi-fi mockup and prototype utilizing HTML, CSS and JS. This project is unique with its blend of music history and vibrant visual elements.
