EMERGENCY WARD EXTENSION OF SOPOT HEALTHCARE CENTER

For a bachelor's degree final project, I decided to take on a rather complex problem - extension of an existing building by an emergency ward (which is rather complex by itself).
This design is defined by an extreme overhang which doubles as cover for the ambulance driveway. The overall shape itself is derived from the form of the existing buildings compound. Various medical areas flow between reinforced concrete slabs, which support the iconic overhang.
