G.O.E.
G.O.E. (Guardians Of the Earth) is a gamified mobile application designed for those who want to take the first step towards a more sustainable life and give their contribution to recover from this environmental crisis.
The main function of the app is to signal, through it, the areas with open-air waste and then organize an event to clean it up together with the other users.
Users will identify with the Guardians and will have to protect the Earth from plastics and other waste dispersed in the environment that are contaminating our ecosystem.
G.O.E. Through game elements it tries to motivate the Guardian to give the best of himself, such as the challenges that each Guardian must face to earn Badges or the opportunity to become part of a team and complete the missions that are entrusted together.
In fact, the goal that G.O.E. aims is to create a real (not virtual) community based on strong principles such as care for the environment and contact between man and nature.
I wanted to recreate through G.O.E. that atmosphere that Wes Anderson gives us with its colors, from here I connected, through the movie Moonrise Kingdom, to the Boy Scouts to their unmistakable outdoor "style", the badges sewn on the band, the maps and the guides.
The logo contains everything G.O.E. represents.

The inner quadrant of the circle contains the symbols of the 3 G.O.E. teams, I wanted to give it priority because it is the guardians who are the real protagonists, it is they who represent G.O.E..
The dotted circumference symbolizes the seam of badges that will then be inside the app.

The three teams represent the player profiles:
Explorers: Team Stars, the adventure-ready guardian to signal areas that are far from his range. Hence the stars in memory of explorers searching for lost lands
Achiever: Map Team, guardians who want to report even the smallest area and thus move forward quickly in the game.
Hence the map for their scrupulousness
Socializers: Fire Team , guardians who like to stay in company and make new acquaintances. Hence the fire, an element that unites us and makes us all find themselves in a circle to it.

The style I wanted to use for the icons is outline with a marked line.
The shapes, on the other hand, harmonize with soft curves and hard corners, resuming a friendly but at the same time decisive and serious style.
