Close examination of three representative products from three leading animal-based industries reveals the unnecessary and systematic abuse of animals, deliberately shielded from consumers. The scientific-technical graphic language is designed to echo the cold and distant attitude of industry - and, by extension, of most consumer - toward the suffering of these animals.
