SIKAP—or Synergizing Recovery Initiatives, Knowledge, and Adaptation Practices for MSMEs—is PDRF’s unified resilience hub created to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) bounce forward to the “next normal”. SIKAP provides information on the latest available loans, programs, and online events specifically for MSMEs in the Philippines and also offers mentorship opportunities for MSMEs provided by industry leaders and experts.

The program is delivered in five (5) work packages (WP). WP1 and WP2: Mapping of industry and institutional actors WP3: Comparative analysis of practices and open dashboard/SIKAP Platform WP4 and 5: Validation through scenario planning sessions and development of policy recommendation 

Objectives:
The session will help the participants understand the importance of disaster preparedness in building resilience of MSMEs in the Philippines. More specifically, it will: 
(1) Present the results of the MSME Recovery Project; 
(2) Share experience and perception of MSME stakeholders on the SME Recovery Project; and 
(3) Provide next steps on how the project can support MSME support.
