Sketching is very important during the idea generation process, I explored different forms and proportions of the design and try to make a watch that suitable for the user. In this process, I normally referencing the structure of the PCB and try to ensure the PCB can fit in my design, however, I usually put my design at first priority.
Product Development
The difficulties I faced in this process were challenging. First of all was the size, I tried to make my design as thin as possible, as this is a fix baby monitor, there are no motor inside the structure. However, I figured out that the foot print are too small and it was not stable. I had to balance the overall size and base size to fulfil the criteria.
