Old WWII Necromancy Device.
I was scared to death as a child when played "Return to castle Wolfenstein". So that idea of military occult scientists inventing and learning dark and forbidden themes stuck with me. How did they raise the dead? What devices or magic did they use? That's my approach - a necromancy device that extracts energy from ancient artifacts and mixes it with fluids. That mixture is used later to fill the dead bodies. Something like that xD
As for the model itself: I wanted to keep a military look to it and used old WWII field radios as references.
