THREADLEIN
(A DISPLAY FONT USING THREAD)

Confusion is something that we all face in some or the other thing. No one is absolutely clear with all their thoughts on the basis on which they take decisions. In this I have described a methodology that I have used to design this Roman Font. The main elements used to design this font are thread and needle. The main aim was to design a display font keeping in mind the structure of Latin Script, functional requirements of display type and aesthetics parameters of Roman Font design. It is a workable font which I have recreated in fontlab for the same. Also I have made few applications.

1. Introduction
Confusion is when a lot of thoughts run in our mind at the same time. It leads to overthinking and chaos within ourselves. We get tangled in our own thoughts. Thread became the inspiration for this. The task assigned was to design a story book on “Birth Of Font”. At first, I was very confused in selecting the concept and element as to what I should use to design my font. Then I decided to work on “Confusion” itself and I used thread as my prime element and needle for supporting it.

Making it workable
This was the most crucial and skill based step. I recreated it using a software called illustrator and then in fontlab to make it workable so that we could test the font and find the solution if the user is facing any problem. Finally the font was ready.
