Shesha Fest is a program on Cartoon Network Africa that showcases animated shorts, wholly produced in Africa.
The concept for the on air design elements is to showcase short moments of awesomeness in mundane scenes young Africans can relate to.
Using the Cartoon Network brand as a reference, we came up with a style using 3D, flat vector, textures and spray paint brushes to show the variety the block has to offer. These elements bring an African tendency to the style, without placing focus on any one tradition.
