Aube & Court from Dandelion Branding contacted me to create, from the ground up, the branding for their new business adventure: The Living Brand Directory, a directory for ethical and sustainable brands to help consumers choose the right company for their purchase. Their mission: stimulating change towards a more sustainable future while promoting conscious consumerism.
The design problem we solved was to showcase the quality of the directory while maintaining a connecting and authentic feeling. All the brands go through a vetting process to ensure that only quality brands are showcased which will help consumers build trust. However, it was important for Aube and Court that the branding also feel approachable and grassroot.
To position LBD as such, paying particular attention to details, using round shapes and creating a friendly color palette, were the design solutions we adopted.
