The task was so create three large posters utilizing monotones, duotones, and tritones, all using Pantone colors. The resulting images are all photo collages that represent who we are as a person, as each image is to contain two photos of us, and objects that are meaningful to us. For my objects, I wanted to choose items that I use everyday (and therefore, are meaningful), but are also aesthetically pleasing and unique. The decorated jar that appears in the first and second posters is a jar that I use to store paper clips and safety pins in. The bear that appears in all three posters is one of the very few decorations in my bedroom that stays constant, as I tend to re-decorate it frequently. The two bags are items I use on a daily basis, no matter where I'm going. I chose these mainly because they fit in with one of the attributes I chose, "feminine". All of these objects also convey the stubbornness in me, because I've been bullied for being feminine, but since I'm stubborn, I still embrace that side of me anyways. Finally, I chose to put the monster can in the third poster, because I felt like that was an item I have that sent the message of persistence. As we all know, it's to give us energy, and we need energy to keep doing the things we want and need to do.
