Digital Commodity Distribution System

A digital version of the traditional
Commodity Distribution System

In India, there exists a public commodity distribution system.

In this all the citizens of India can purchase subsidized goods and commodities.
The citizens can purchase goods according to the quota allotted to them. This quota is allotted based on the financial status of the citizen.

One can purchase subsidized goods from Fair Price Shops till they have exhausted their quota for the month. After a month, their quota gets restored and they can again purchase subsidized goods.

The traditional way of this process required the citizen to visit the fair price shop in person and wait in long queues for their turn to come. With the advancements in the technology in India and availability of cheap computers and smartphones along with mobile data, almost everyone can avail this service with no hassles.

Below is a mock-up of the UI of the application that people can use to avail this service.
